Over 100 companies join government financing projects

Lubango - At least 184 companies in central Huila province have so far expressed interest in joining the Angolan government's financing projects, with the aim of encouraging and improving the quality and quantity of the national production.

The information was disclosed Wednesday to Angop by the director of Huila’s provincial Integrated Economic Development Department, Manuel Machado Quilende, adding that an overall 15 are cooperatives selected by municipal administrations.

According to Manuel Machado, the other companies are focused on agriculture, cattle breeding and meat production, import of agricultural inputs, industry, service and distribution supply, among others.

The official underscored that under the Credit Support Programme (PAC) the department controls 17 projects of companies, which submitted to several banks.
