Power network expansion benefits over 3,000 new customers
Saurimo - The expansion of the electricity grid in Txizainga I and II, Sacombe, Terra Nova, in Saurimo (Lunda Sul) will benefit 3,300 new customers, revealed Friday the director of Technical Service and Infrastructure, Claúdio Pemessa.

The official made this statement at the end of the verification visit made by the provincial governor of Lunda Sul, Daniel Neto, and stressed that so far work is underway to place poles of electricity transformation (PT) and installation of cables for household connections.
Cláudio Pemessa made it known that after the conclusion of the electrification project, another 21 PT will be added, which will allow for another five thousand home connections in the city.
He underlined that in two months the expansion of the electricity network in the peripheries of the city will be concluded, in order to satisfy the needs of the population.
Daniel Neto, in his turn, asked for celerity in the works that are being executed, with the purpose of improving the quality of life of the residents.
He appealed to the population to denounce all those who commit acts of vandalism of public goods made available.
With more than 18,000 customers, ENDE in the city of Saurimo, Lunda Sul province, receives energy from the Nhama thermal power stations (20 MW), Txicumina (five) and the Chicapa hydroelectric dam (three).
