The president’s aide defended historical elements to honour the ancestors who fought to free the country from colonisation.
According to him, the inauguration ceremonies at this time and on the “eve” of the 45 years of national independence, represent this need.
Addressing Friday the inauguration ceremony of the Cazinga/Luanda Flyover, worth AKz 6.2 billion, the official mentioned some gains achieved in recent days.
Among them, he referred to Hospital of Bié (central province) and Maria Tresa/Dondo and Cariango /Mussende/Quibala road sections.
In turn, the minister of Public Works and Spatial Planning, Manuel Tavares, spoke of a programme aimed to change the image of Luanda, which according to him, includes 41 flyovers.
